Så här när vi går i husköpartankar har jag så lägligt
blivit kär i en lampa. En gammal designklassiker av Louis Poulsen
som nu finns i ny tappning. Doo Wop heter den och nu vill jag 

bara ha ett hem att hänga den i!

Festival

Vårt största problem hemma är att vi inte får plats med alla kläder 

i våra två garderober. Om vi ändå haft lite väggyta att spela på hade 

jag troligen kopierat denna klädhängare med hjälp av några udda 

trägalgar. Så fiffig!

I dag har jag haft första seminariet på skolan, det gick galant.

Jag trodde det skulle bli svårt att få allting som är på gång i mitt liv

att gå ihop men sedan skolstarten har det känts riktigt riktigt bra.

A kommer alltid vara min största prio, det är så självklart 

att hon går före allt annat och jag vill inte missa ett endaste litet steg 

i hennes utveckling. Men det känns så lyxigt att jag har möjlighet att 

studera och samtidigt starta mitt första företag och liksom ta vara 

på allt det gottigaste i livet på en och samma gång. 

Värre blir det sen när både jag och F jobbar heltid och inte 

alls har det såhär flexibelt. Så det enda som fattas just nu är närheten 

till mina föräldrar, syster, nära släkt och Ume-vänner. Mina hjältar.

Dreaming of you

Dreaming of better storage and nice furnitures where we can 

put our clothes. I'd love to have these two beauties in our future,
hopefully, bigger bedroom. Right now our bedroom is devided in two
and A has her own corner with all of her toys, books and
clothes gathered.

We live in an apartment on 54 square meters, which is
starting to feel a bit small. All our storage spaces are stuffed
with things. So we've started thinking about moving. But where to?
We are torn between three quite different alternatives. Perhaps we'll
move up north, buy and restaure a big old house in Västerbotten with
original wooden floors and fireplace. It's some how my
dream image. F's too.

An other option is to live poor for a few years and save 

lots of money to build our own dream house. F is soon graduating at 

Royal Institution of Technology and gets his degree in Master of Sience, 

 alignment Housing Structures. We'd love to make our own floor plans 

that'd fit our needs perfectly. Really close to our dream
image too.

Our third option, which feels more like the next step,
is to buy a bigger apartment here in Stockholm or perhaps Umeå
until we've figured out where we really want to settle down.

I LOVE prints. Especially simple ones like these. Perhaps we can find a place 

for the cups from Designletters in our cupboards now. A.J is just one of the 

greatest architects/designers ever.

I'm not feeling that well tonight. I should have been down town by now, 

celebrating a friend. but I have such a stomach-ache and feel off coloured. 

To bad, I had really been looking forward to this girls night out.

To the steadliness

Here's some glimpses of our home. 

I've searched for some potential publishers today and drew a few more pages 

for the book. Feels good to actually get some where in the process.

I just talked to Nancy who is working on the new clothing line I've told you 

about. She said that she wants me to play a bigger part than we've talked about. 

The plan was that I'd help her out with the business plan and upstart. No further 

than that. But now, I have to decide whether or not to put my heart into 

this business. Perhaps become a partner. That's a big thing.

I feel so honoured and so excited. Aah! What to do, what to do... 

Sleep tight, I know I won't.

Human behaviour

This wounderful porcelain is made by Mia Blanche. I would love to have 

some of her georgeous ceramic creations in my future house. But right now 

our cupboards are jam-packed with all kinds of oddments. I believe it's 

a rather typical human behaviour, or perhaps swedish. 

Why are we so afraid of getting rid of things that we neither use nor 

like that much? The destiny of that poor little single cup always standing 

in the cupboard should be kind of obvious.
